PT Granitor Systems APAC is set to embark on a transformative journey with the 'BoCT SCADA Upgrade' project, signaling a departure from the existing SCADA to the innovative Ignition platform by Inductive Automation.
The existing SCADA system has prompted concerns due to security issues. In response, Granitor Systems APAC, in collaboration with Inductive Automation, is in the process of integrating the new Ignition SCADA for enhanced control and monitoring capabilities.
The project envisions a dynamic architecture connecting the new Ignition platform to Quantum PLC via Ethernet and Modbus+. Granitor is offering a comprehensive package for the project, including the Ignition Platform with unlimited tags, Perspective Module, Reporting Module, Tag Historian Module, OPC COM Module, and Redundancy Configuration License, supported by robust hardware.
Leading the charge in this ambitious venture are engineers Husnun Ni'am and Muhammad Reza Firdaus, along with HSE Officer Fauzi Ramdhani, who are diligently overseeing the ongoing project. The team is focused on achieving key objectives, including successful backup and migration, side-by-side testing, and a seamless switchover from the existing SCADA to the new Ignition system.
As an authorized system integrator of Inductive Automation in Indonesia, Granitor emphasizes the potential of Ignition for users seeking a state-of-the-art SCADA system. The ongoing 'BoCT SCADA Upgrade' project underscores Granitor's commitment to pushing the boundaries of industrial control and automation.
