Validating System Readiness: TAPIS System Upgrade

Reliable water intake systems play a critical role in ensuring smooth and continuous industrial operations. In line with this, our client initiated an upgrade project to enhance the reliability and performance of its TAPIS Panel system.
PT Granitor Systems APAC was entrusted to deliver the upgrade and completion of the system, bringing its expertise in electrical and automation engineering solutions.
The TAPIS system functions as an intake screening system that protects downstream equipment by filtering debris from raw water sources. To maintain optimal performance, the system is equipped with an automatic backwash mechanism, enabling efficient and continuous cleaning of the screen.
As part of the upgrade, the system has been integrated into a control panel, allowing improved monitoring, automated operation, and enhanced reliability.
The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), conducted on April, 1st 2026, marked an important milestone to validate the system prior to deployment, ensuring that all functions perform as intended.
